For sale is a Yamaha K 1000 (100 Volt) that was just inspected by a local tech and me and is in very good condition.
A cassette enthusiast will know that this deck is unique because it has NO belts and the NO bias trap before the record head. Only rubber in it is an idler tire, and it has plenty of life left in it. See the torque figures for FFWD and REW at the end. I tried to put pics for play torques, but I couldn't get a picture while the play torque cassette is moving. Take-up play torque is 50gm-cm, and back tension is 5-6gm-cm
I also attached plots for Wow and Flutter and frequency response with Sony Metal ES tape (not included in the sale), distortion figures(TDK SA), and torque figures.
